MyFreeTaxes helps people file their taxes for free while getting the assistance they need. United Way provides MyFreeTaxes in partnership with the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to help filers prepare their tax returns on their own or have their return prepared for them for free. Foundations in Personal Finance Course

The State Office ILP has invested in Foundations in Personal Finance offered by Ramsey Solutions. This 13 Chapter Course covers topics such as Budgeting Basics, Saving, Credit and Debit, Consumer Awareness and more! For each chapter completed youth are eligible to receive a $25 incentive. Youth interested in this course need to reach out to their social worker.
